Introduction of fan bearing

1. Sleeve bearing
Sleeve bearing, which uses lubricating oil as lubricant and drag reducer
Advantages: the price is very low, and the operation noise is relatively low in the initial use.
Disadvantages: the bearing is easy to wear and has short service life. In addition, this kind of bearing has been used for a long time, the lubricating oil in the bearing sleeve is easy to leak out, the noise will continue to increase, and it will pollute and other accessories.
2. Single ball bearing
Single ball bearing (one ball bearing or ball sleeve bearing) is an improvement on the traditional oil bearing. It adopts the form of mixed sliding friction and rolling friction, and uses one ball bearing and one oil bearing to reduce the cost of double ball bearing. It combines the advantages of oil bearing and double ball bearing. The disadvantage is that the operating noise increases after adding balls, but it is still less than that of double ball bearing.
3. Double ball bearing
Double ball bearing (dual ball bearing or two ball bearing) adopts two ball bearings, which use rolling friction to replace the traditional sliding friction, so the friction is small, there is no lubricating oil, and there is no problem of oil leakage.
The advantages are: long service life, good resistance to aging, and suitable for high speed fans.
The biggest disadvantage is high manufacturing cost.
4. Hydraulic bearing
Hydraulic bearing is improved on the basis of oil bearing. The hydraulic bearing adopts a unique ring oil supply circuit, which reduces the problem of oil leakage to a great extent, greatly prolongs the service life compared with the ordinary oil bearing, and inherits the advantages of the oil bearing: low operating noise, significantly reduces the working noise of the hydraulic bearing fan, and has a very long service life, up to 40000 hours.
5. Bearing of fluid protection system
The name of hydro bearing comes from hy (hydrodynamic wave) pro (oil protection system). It is a patented product of ADDA, a well-known radiator and fan design and manufacturer. It is also made by many improvements on the basis of traditional oil bearing. The bearing of fluid protection system and hydraulic bearing have the same goal. The two designs have adopted some unique improvement measures, but the essence is the circulating oil circuit system, and the performance in all aspects is basically the same. Generally, the service life of the product can reach more than 50000 hours.
6. Laifu bearing
Rifle bearing is mainly used for the cooling fan of CoolerMaster, and it is also an improvement on the traditional oil bearing. Laifu bearing is made of wear-resistant materials, high oil content hollow bearing, and shaft core with reverse spiral groove and oil retaining groove. When the fan is running, the lubricating oil in it will form reverse reflux, so as to avoid the problem of oil leakage and control the operating noise very low.
7. Magnetic bearing
The motor of magnetic bearing has magnetic system (MS) design. Its magnetic induction line is perpendicular to the magnetic levitation line, so the shaft core is parallel to the magnetic levitation line, so the weight of the rotor is fixed on the running track, and the almost no-load shaft core is used to support in the direction of anti magnetic levitation line, forming that the whole rotor is suspended and on the fixed running track. Therefore, magnetic levitation is actually only an auxiliary function, not an independent bearing form. The specific application has to cooperate with other bearing forms, such as magnetic levitation + ball bearing, magnetic levitation + oil bearing, magnetic levitation + vaporization bearing and so on. This technology has not been recognized by European and American countries.
8. Vaporized bearing
Vapor bearing (vapo bearing) is improved by Sunon‘s magnetic levitation technology, which strengthens the hardness of the shaft sleeve of the oil bearing, adopts special materials, and its inner surface is also specially processed. In this way, the disadvantage of high temperature resistance of the oil bearing is overcome, and then combined with the magnetic levitation technology, the service life is greatly prolonged.
9. Nano ceramic bearing (NCB)
Nano ceramic bearing (NCB) is still an oil bearing in essence, which was first introduced by Foxconn in its products. The traditional oil bearing fan is seriously worn in the process of use, and its reliability is low when it is used for a long time. Nano bearing effectively overcomes this problem: the ceramic bearing technology adopts the full integration of special polymer materials and special additives, and the bearing core is fully made of special dioxide materials, which are made by die and sintering process. The crystal particles are reduced from the past 60um to 0.3um, which has the characteristics of firmness, smoothness and wear resistance. Nano ceramic bearing has strong high temperature resistance and is not easy to volatilize, which greatly prolongs the service life of the fan. The nature of nano bearing is similar to that of ceramics, and the more it is worn, the smoother it becomes. According to the test, the average service life of fans with nano ceramic bearings is more than 150000 hours. In fact, this technology is not a real nanotechnology, and the materials used are not real nanoscale materials. It just uses the word nano to attract attention.
